Default any1 know how to check dead pixel in Zune

I gonna buy a Zune HD 32GB secondhand but 99%new, I can choose from 2 models. Is it possible that i can turn the screen into all black or white .

I haven't used Zune HD

Just put JPEGs in the relevant solid colors (red, green, blue, black, white) on the player and view them in the image viewer.

images are quite hard for me because my laptop is broken and the owner doesnt have anything like that to test...

i may try the webbrowser and maybe the radio could help a little bit :P

a jpeg is the worst way to test that because of the compression.

That's nonsense, compression doesn't matter at all for solid colors. Just view the JPEGs I linked above.

Download it and put it on the Zune HD - shows flaws in the screen.

I believe that's how OLED screens start 'dying:' after 3-4 years, the pixels start becoming dead.g

I know there are many ways we can do with internet or our PC. but I just want to know is the zune dedicated screen testing like my old mobile phone or psp .

1 hour latter I will have a Zune , can't wait
