Default Multiple Album Art On One Album

I want to put Nine Inch Nails:Ghosts on my Zune, problem is i also want all the album arts to be correct (every song has different art).

I have tagged every track on Mp3Tag v2.45b and then imported that into Zune, but it still wont show individual album art.

Does anyone have a fix for this? Dave?

Thanks in advance.

You'll have to edit each song to have a different album title with each cover art respectively.

I use mp3tag for that. Quick free and easy.

I had the same problem with the The Slip by NIN, different album art embedded into each song but the Zune only shows 1. I gave up because I could find no solution.

So I'm assuming it's still showing as just one album? If so then delete the album from your collection and then re-import it by dragging and dropping the edited albums onto the software. Wait for a little plus sign before dropping (I just move the curser over the media controls then up to the library then it registers).

example (my screenshot doesn't show the plus sign for some reason):

It shows as one album with only one album art which is wrong.

You can see in the screen shot of zune there is a standard "Ghosts" album art whereas in mp3tag there is all separate images.

I'm having nearly the exact same problem. Has a solution to this been found by anyone?

How about editing individually via the Zune Software? Like selecting one song, right click, change album art, done.

I had this same problem, however i had one of the individual song art, it was some blurry picture for all of them, i settled with having them all have the ghosts album art. I have a doubt there will ever be a real fix for this since it's such an uncommon problem.

Bullseye,

I don't think this is actually possible. I only get the option to update the album art when I right-click an album, not a song. Like I said, the album art is embedded into each song, so if there's only one song in the album, it will choose that art as the album picture.

It's a shame, but I guess there isn't anything that can be done. I feel like I just wasted a TON of time though. I applied a different image for about 811 songs. =x

dont have the software with me at the moment so i cannot confirm. but IIRC you can right click on a song, edit, change the album title to XXXXX XXXXX _1 and it will make another album of it...then you can select the correct album art for it. then just do this for every song...and change the "1" to whatever track number it is. seems kinda silly to me but it may work if you really wanted to do that.

Yes it's possible but it's a workaround. I've learned how to do it thanks to Ricardo Dawkins.

You have to edit each track as its own album ie "Nine Inch Nails:Ghosts 1", "Nine Inch Nails:Ghosts 2", etc. then add each track to a playlist such as "Ghosts".

Realistically, no. It only appeals to you. They do mass markets. But that's not to say that ABI is not included (hence XVid etc.)
