Cannot Update Firmware

Hi all

New to Forum. Just received black YP-Q2 (16GB).

Excellent player. Installed EMODIO. Downloaded latest firmware file from Samsung. Tried to drag and drop new file in explorer but did not work.

Opened EmoDio but option to update firmware and check version not available from menu. Any idea why?

I have version 2.02 UK (2009.12.22)

Any ideas appreciated.

Do not use EmoDio or the Samsung website for that.

Download firmwares in the sticked All Firmwares thread.
Then you are sure to get the latest version (1.22) and you have the changelog for every firmware.

Then extract the Zip archive. Put the Q2Update.dat file at the root of your Q2. Disconnect it from the PC.
