Are you guys getting the advertised battery life of 33 hours? I'm only getting about 20, with noise canceling off.

Never bothered checking.
Remember that battery life will greatly depend on encoding format for your music. I assume you are talking about music and not video.

I get plenty of playtime, but I'm not really gonna test it either,....sorry.

It's more than double my Clip+, so say 25-30 hours - that'd be about right.

Right, Szadzik, I hadn't thought of that.

But it was dead when I got home. The run time is fine for me, except when I do that, but if I was to be getting 33 hours I'd expect it to not be dead after 20. I just thought I remembered reading somewhere what Sony said was more or less accurate.

not really, more like 16hr for me, then again I have the screen brightness on 4-5, noise cancelling on most of the time (bus rides etc) and clear bass etc so..................
