I am hoping to remove everything in the C:\Program Files\Creative directory.
I've uninstalled Zen Media Explorer, but would like to remove Creative Sync Manager, Zencast Organizer, Creative Video Converter, etc. completely. I've searched and searched for how to get rid of these files but haven't found a definitive answer. I've enjoyed my Zen 2 G for the few months I've owned it, but the bloatware I've been stuck with may prevent me from upgrading in the future. Any help is greatly appreciated. |

you should be able to uninstall all of that through the control panel>remove/add programs (or whatever it's called on your OS).
After you uninstall, you should run CCleaner, or some other registry cleaning application to get rid of all the stuff left behind. CCleaner: http://www.ccleaner.com/download

Thanks for the reply...
I had used the Add/Remove before posting but it left behind Sync Manager, Video Converter, etc. as artifacts. I removed the folder as you suggested through Ccleaner and it's all gone now. A big thank you! P.S. I downloaded Ccleaner a couple months ago and it, along with Glary Utilities have been two utility programs I now wouldn't know what to do without. The Disk Analysis tool in Glary Utilities is definitely worth the download. |
