I've been playing with my BT Sony Headphones the past couple of days. Once paired, there may be some extra drain on the S9, but, I haven't notice it. The Headphones battery will drain off way before the S9. The thing is that if you're using BT, you're probably not driving wired earphones through the amplifier circuitry. So, it's probably a push on energy consumption depending on how high loud you play your music.

I pair my S9 up to a bluetooth car speaker system, and it drains the batteries at least twice as fast. The worst part is, it'll drain the battery pretty badly (although not at the same rate) when the player is on sleep mode too.
On the other hand, the S9 has such a long battery life that it doesn't really matter.. |
