Walkman NWZ-A846/845 and S744/745 launched in Asia Pacific

The models are on the Asia-Pacific site but they are not available in most of the countries..its available in Australia,China etc..does it take a long time to launch in a country after its release on the Asia-Pacific site?

I will be picking up the A845 next week in Tokyo. Went for black or brown, cannot remember. But here in Korea, it is very expensive.

Nope. A non-Jap A847 doesn't exist for now so there's no way we'd get one here.

Well, got it and will get piccies up tomorrow. First thing first: it is sexy. But... it is very poorly made in comparison to my A828 and even to my S636. It flexes, has gaps between the screen and body which close upon pressure, and there is a constant clicking which goes on incessantly all the time.

Thank God I have a LOD and amp, because otherwise, this bad boy would annoy the hell out of me.

I assume the clicking issue can be fixed with a firmware upgrade, but if not, I'll find the highest bidder as that is unacceptable. It also hisses a little more than the X which already hisses way too much.

Apart from that, love that it records via line in, that it is slim and gets good battery life. Seems to spot pretty good Line out performance which does away with the clicking sound and hiss (amp dependent of course).

I like it, but certainly don't love it. If by the end of a week or two I am not happy, I'll sell it here.
