Funny, if you search Google for anything "ipad" it suggests you meant ipod.

I wouldn't be surprised if they do. Afterall the iPod mini became the iPod nano, not really sure why, but meh.

it's probably the safe search thing cause google thinks it's a for womens hygiene and google doesn't want children to see it

It's because Google is smart. It knows that the iPad is just an oversized iPod.

Strangely enough, Google Chromes' spell checker also recognizes the word iPod, but not iPad.
