This was my favorite gadget i saw this year at CES. It is a prototype, but should be released sometime in 2010- So basically its the Microsoft Courier like tablet with Windows 7.
Here is the 7" model. Windows 7 still needs to come a long way before its more finger friendly. They have made some steps towards adding touch UI elements in Win 7 but its only scratching the surface as to what is needed. There were two tablets at the MSI booth a 10" and a 7" both of which were running prototypes- so we will see this sometime this year. Here are the specs on the 10":

But i really like the leather binding on the Courier- i guess you could add a case to this to get the same effect.

That is very cool. For me I prefer to use my tablet in portrait orientation for everything that does not involve a ton of typing. Even note taking I like using my stylus with all the handwriting abilities of the tablet software. Sometimes for stuff like thread replies I will use the stylus with the on screen keyboard but usually I'll switch back to landscape mode and use a proper keyboard.
Edit: I would like to see this pc have the ability to sandwich the backs together so you can use 1 screen alone and hold it like you would a pad of paper, single pane slate tablet, e reader, etc.

Hmm... That thing needs some OLED. Also not too sure about the whole book form factor thing, needs to fold into a slate

Personally I prefer the other MSI tablet that detaches from the screen and turns it into a tablet and when you plug it in you get a full functioning netbook. (I can't remember the exact model but I saw it on tekzilla) anyways. The concept of this dual screen tablet is great but I would love it to utilize it more like how the MS courier work. Personally the courier is the best design tablet (or what ever MS calls it) design to date

this has a wierd design-like one screen seperated into two . it would be alot better as a two seperate fuctioning displays like the ms courier.
