Mine keeps coming loose. I know well how to fix it now, thankfully.
![]() Anyway, has anyone found a way to make this more secure? I just fixed mine yet again and on my dad's suggestion I took a thin strip of paper, folded it in half and then in thirds and then stuck it in the case just above where the battery resides. Right there that pad on the other side of the daughter card sticks through: ![]() So I put the back on and now I'm hoping that will put some more pressure on the daughter card to keep it secure through my inevitable drops. I swear, this is a sturdy PMP except for that freaking daughter card! |

So do you mean the actual flash chip daughter-board thingy actually comes loose when you drop it? That's odd, I've dropped mine a billion times and I've never had that happen (one time it made a burning silicon smell, but it's worked for 6 months after now, so who knows).
Oh well, if it works for you then good luck :P. |
