yp stuck on radio

MY wifes yp p2 seems to be stuck on radio, whenever it is switched on it goes straight to radio none of the buttons work and the screen is unresponsive only clue is a flashing padlock symbol at the top of screen, have tried the lock button at the side but makes no difference ,even opened it up to make sure the button wasn't broken but it's fine, only way to switch of is to reset. any help much appreciated

Sounds like a software issue.
Try downgrading or upgrading the firmware? I'm not sure though. Just a guess.

tried upgrading /downgrading still same response even disconnected battery hoping it might reboot the system still nothing
