p2 wont sync

i got this p2 a while ago and used it with emodio on a xp desktop, well i have not used it in a while and now i got a new computers, its running windows vista and my p2 is running firmware KR 5.10, the computer can view the files in the p2 threw my computer BUT it will not reconize it in the sync center,emodio,wmp. i have reinstalled the usb drivers i have reinstalled emodio and usb framework, it still will not SYNC. please help what you can.

I have the same problem and i'm trying to solve it. I connect my P2 to window xp sp2, it work probaly. but i update window xp sp3. My p2 only charges, when i connect. The same firware: KR 5.10, Don't use for a long time.
