Your Music settings

Probably already been done, but I'm lazy!

I haven't experimented too much, not at all with the custom EQ.

I'm mainly using the Jazz equalizer, VPT "live", DSEE on, Clear stereo on, Dynamic normalizer on.

I use Shure SE530's and listen to a whole range of music types. Would be interested to know what settings others have settled on.

Clear Stereo does nothing unless you are using Sony's earphones....says it right in their manuals.

I leave the 0.4 and 1.0 bars at 0. The 2.5 bar is at -2, 6.3 is at 0 and 16Khz is at 1. Clear bass is at 3.

I mostly listen to rock music with loud guitars so this gives it a more warmer sound, instead of sounding too tinny.

It's basically a modification of the Jazz preset.

If you like high pitch sounds, I think this is great. Sounds great for acoustic guitar music, such as Jack Johnson.

Well I'm now listening on the default settings and it sounds great. As long as the headphones go deep into ur ear, it sounds great. Mine were loose at first but then I tried one of the other heads.

Nah the default settings are lame, you might as well listen to an ipod with the sony headphones. I have them fairly high with clear bass on 3, the bass is great! some songs had great bass you never noticed before

VPT, DSEE and Clear Stereo do nothing for me, but apart from those the EQ enhancements and Clear Bass are very good, although probably not as good as DNSe3 imo.

How does the battery life fare out with all those sound enhancements/EQ tweaks?

If you had everything there is switched on and ramped up Clearbass to 3 you'd probably notice a decrease in battery life.

With just a few EQ settings, though, it's negligible.
