Wipe your hands before using to get the oil off? I don't know, never really bothered me as they come off easily.

Burning wouldn't do any good because your fingers still would produce oil

Is there a reason why you don't want a screen protector? I use those cheap $5 ones that you have to cut and they work great, after a few months or I so I just throw another one on since they get little scuffs over time. But I highly recommend a BSE (Best Skin Ever), it's much cheaper than an InvisibleShield and it's the same exact thing.

With or without a protector you will get some dirt on your screen.
My advice is to use a microfiber cloth. It a fantastic way to clean the screen and the body of any device from dust and grease. I am amazed everytime. It should also be a durable accessory if you clean it gently with soap and let it dry naturally, away from an electric dryer and from direct sun heat.

You could wash your hands extremely often.
Windex or any window/glass cleaner also works extremely well to remove all smudges and the like.

hmm.. I have a screen protector and I still get greasy prints. Not as much as without it but still. Why does it sound like you guys are saying that screen protectors should get rid of fingerprints?

It's coming in a firmware update:
settings > fingerprints > on | off | auto

Wear Soft cotton shirts. Wipe the screen on your shirt.

Sometimes when i get tired of seeing fingerprints I use the bend of my index finger tip (you know... like the first knuckle thing... not your actual knuckles)

I just use the somewhat hard chunk of skin that is on the sides of the tips of the fingers, right next to the end of the fingernail... Works pretty well, unless you have to type lol
