ZII Egg SD Memory integration

So i bought a zii egg and upgraded the plazsma firmware to the latest version. Plug in my SD memory card and it detects it. Yet, I can't access the media on the card and it doesn't seem to do anythnig aside from displaying the memory card symbol.

What do I need to do to get it working? support were pretty dismissive,

A bit off topic, but I was considering taking the plunge and purchasing the device this week, apart from SD memory card issues, are you experiencing any other issues with the device?

Lets be clear, it is the development version - advanced prototype. Teh plaszma system is not really near completion and video seems unstable and music is hard to navigate. But sound is great and video looks good - it blows the touch and hopefully will make it look like a donkey.

However, I have installed android this morning and the sd card integrates flawlessly. Yet, I can't add stuff to the main memory (or have not found it yet).

I'd really have liked a zune hd except living in the Uk makes them hard to get.
