Hey,
When you turn the Cowon at a 90 degree or close to it instead of "currently playing" You`ll see the album art of your songs. Is it possible to turn this option of? Either this particular option or the G sensor alltogether? 2nd q: Sometimes the Cowon doesnt play by track number but puts everything on alphabetic order. Is there a way to make it allways play by track order? My tracks have the ID tag on them with track number. I have the Cowon for a month now with the Sennheiser CX400. Was really glad with the buy, sharp sound. Good navigating, quick responsive touch screen. So far havent used it for video or other apps much. But alltogether really glad i got this little jewel ![]() Thanks |

If you press flip on the music screen there's an icon to lock the screen (ie keep it in one mode when you move it). I can't remember what the icon looks like in the default UI...
Are you sure your ID3 tags are correctly formatted? Run them through mp3tag again just to make sure. |

Also, make sure the file names start with the track numbers as well, something like "01 - blah.mp3".

Oh yeah.. and that 0 before the 1 is important.

That 0 is only important if you the S9 fails to recognize your track tagging like it would if your files are .wma files. In that case, the S9 will default to sorting by file name alphabetically. Just be sure to rename with track number before the song title. That 0 will keep thngs in correct order if you exceed 10 songs in an album. Otherwise track order could be something like 1, 10, 11, 12, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. With the 0 you get, 01, 02, 03...
If this is the case, mp3tag will quickly allow you to change the file name with track number included in the filename by using the convert feature. |

So, to keep it short - the 0 before the number is important.

Just out of silly curiosity, does anyone name their files like this?
001 002 003 004 005 006 007 009 010 011 012 etc... |

If there's multiple cds in an album I will name them like -
101 102 103 104 201 202 203 204 etc. but only for those with multiple cds
