I just upgraded to the 2.51 from the 2.41.
I never was a fan of the bubbly/cartoony/neon color palate of the main menu icons....but now it seems like that is the default in this new firmware upgrade. I can't find the sleeker alternative icons...were they removed? |

You can do 1 of 2 things.
Downgrade back to 2.41. 2.50 has the same interface. Or you can install stall Claw's UCI. I retains the look of the old default mainmenu, but adds a lot of features that Cowon firmware by itself does not include. If you do not change any of the settings withing Claws settings, it's pretty much the same interface as the old Cowon default screens. His interface really doesn't change the interface as much as it allows new features to be enabled and allows user adjusted customization. So, if you adjust nothing, you just have the old interface. |
