Sennheiser CX300 User Review

I bought these as an upgrade from my way old school sony's that were over the ear "street style" that went behind the head and I love these headphones.

I HATE the fact that the right headphone cord is longer as I wish they were both that long so you could run them all behind your head but I'm used to it now and the sound is well worth it.

Great for long workouts. My gym plays the worst music (local rock station) and these baby's drown it out with no problem and I don't have to crank my player either.

Is it possible for amazon to ship fake cx300's?

I got them in a eco packing cardboard box....
the outside of the cx'es is shiney (like my fake ones)

so, im not really sure.....

they were sold straight from amazon direct

Yes, if you buy them off some guy from Amazon Marketplace. That's not really Amazon, but more or less like eBay stores.

Thanks for the review. I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on the CX300 vs Creative EP-630. The CX-300 average $100 in Canada and the EP-630 only $30. I also have a friend in the States that could buy and mail the CX-300s to me. That would only be about $60, but I don't really want to wait. Going to be used in a iAudio D2.

I had these IEMs for a couple of days and gave them away. They felt like there was an insect trying to crawl out of my ears. The sound was ok, but nothing to rave about. I have 4 other Sennheiser cans, not IEMs, that all sound much better than these. Aside from the comfort level, the bass is non-existant unless you have the buds jammed all the way in your ears, where they wouldn't stay in my case, anyway.

I have smallish ear canals, and IEMs rarely fit well to my ears, so my experience may be unique to me, but these were the least comfortable I've used.

Heres my review on this
i bought this like an hour ago and tried it out. Sound quality is pretty impressive. Bass is Very good, although not as good as V moda bass freq. If your a hardcore bass fan and want your face to vibrate DO NOT get this
This suits me perfectly because i listen to hip hop but i also listen to rock and metal occasionally so too much bass will be a problem for me. This has better bass than any ordinary earphone and the acoustics and voice come in perfect as well. The downside though, is that the jack is L shaped and i prefer those straight ones. This can be fixed by going to any headphone repair shop to change your jack. makes it longer lasting too. Another downside is the fact that the cable doesn't go down Y shaped. the right ear cable has to go around your neck which might be a hassle. I don't really know much about changing earphone cables, but i think you can change and upgrade the cables to a Y shaped one at a headphone shop as well.

Overall, this earphone is definitely a very good buy. i bought it at SG$70.00, which is about US$49.90.
