Default Question regarding microsd compatibility

I was looking to buy a 16GB microSD card for a Sansa Clip+ and this Nokia MU-44 16 GB Micro SDHC Card was the cheapest one I could find. Is this (and any other microsd card) compatible with the Sansa Clip+, or is this one only compatible with other Nokia products?

I think it is safe to assume that it is a standard micro SDHC card. It is only class 2 though, so it will be much slower to load than a class 4 or class 6 card. It is okay if you don't change the music on the card very often.

The speed classes don't matter at all if you use the SD cards in the Clip+. Even class 2 is faster than the internal transfer speed of the Clip. Anything will work fine, and a class 6 card would only make sense if you use a fast dedicated card reader for filling the card.

Thanks for that information--good to know! Sigh--these microSD classes and speed issues ...

ummm...I don't read the lingo, but the picture shows it as Class 4.

... or even a slow dedicated card reader is likely to reap the benefits of a card faster than class 2. I wonder though, has anyone done benchmarks about database refresh speeds using different speed rated cards? Those can get kind of lengthy with several gigs of music.
