Default Something curious with my fiio e5

Well something curious has happened to me with my e5.

Volume works fine, bass boost works fine (although seems weaker then it used to be), etc.

However I have encountered a strange oddity when it comes to the bass boost/gain switch.

If I move the switch in the middle somewhat the feature is the same as the gain boost (no added bass), however the volume gets a good deal louder then when set all the way to the left or the right. Is this normal? Does it mean it's broken? It still sounds louder then normal straight to the fuze output but in the middle it's a good four clicks or so louder and about 7 or 8 clicks louder then with the fuze straight out.

So is it broken? Thanks for the comments.

This appears to be normal, several people noticed that middle position oddity with their FiiOs.

It doesn't snap in place in the middle, you have to carefully nudge the slider to stay there. It's a bug, not a feature.
