Default Is there any way to control the folders and files?

I'm trying to use the e200 with a Mac. But I'm almost ready to give up and buy an ipod.

Is there any way to control the folders and files on the e200?

The folders and files I see when I open the device on the desktop don't correspond to what the device shows.

When I try to rename podcasts they always show up as bad files on the e200.

When I try to delete a podcast by dragging and dropping it to the trash, it disappears from the desktop folder but remains on the device.

Files that I drag onto the device turn up in subfolders that I didn't know existed.

After a few days I have such a mess of unwanted podcasts and such a labrynth of folders that I can hardly find anything anymore.

Is there any hope, beyond reformatting the device every couple of days?

I'm assuming since your working with podcasts that your USB MODE is MTP?. If you switch the mode to MSC mode you'll then be able to manipulate files and folders.
