Angry iRiver --- anybody home??!

No wonder sites like this are so common & so many people use them: the support by the mfr. is nonexistant. Called iRiver for the 4th time today to ask simple questions; after half an hour on hold I hung up. Also tried using their site with the FAQ & eBox (how cute); got email that said response was in my ebox but it was empty.
Good thing my new unit works OK since if I had real hardware problems there is nobody at iRiver who will answer the phones.
Has anyone out there actually spoken to a CSR at iRiver? I doubt it.

Hmm... You might as well post things like these on MisticRiver.net, as that's pretty much the "Unofficial support site" for iriver products. Even iriver personnel sometimes browse the site.
