If I ordered it from AMP3 in the UK it's $329.99USD,.............not bad!!!! It's cheaper to order it from the UK. Sony X-Series 32gb Walkman

If I was going to get a 32GB player I would get an X over an S9 simply because it's a good deal cheaper here now.

In the USA it's still the opposite, as the S9 is still the better, cheaper buy.

Guess it isn't selling in the UK then, that is crazy cheap for a premium 32gb player. I if I didn't already have one I'd be tempted.

Amp3 seem to be sold out, awaiting new stock.

I wouldn't say £199 is cheap - I'd like to see the price reduce further - for what it is it was way overpriced from day one.

Well you can only compare against it's peers. I agree the premium players should all be cheaper but in the UK you have P3 at 240 odd, S9 at 260 odd - 200 is cheap in comparrison, especially when Sony is the more recognised brand.

hmm, at 347USD/232.12 Euro with shipping and taxes to poland it is not a bad price seeing as this is the same price the 16 gig model goes for here, so I might consider it....

but then I also have the option of buying a new cellphone, the nokia 5800 which is priced around the same here in poland from nokia. 252 euros/377 US, and comes with WLAN and it can function as a phone. but then its max capacity is 16gb and not sure if it is hot swappable. But the 5800 will probably have poorer sound quality, no oled, less space, and no NC.

but then the X has a poor browser, crappoier cpu and only 32 gigs of space. of course the 5800's browser is not that great either...not sure what to get now, since I do not feel like waiting for any new walkmans.
