My sansa c200 wont turn on when I press the power button BUT it will turn on when connected to the computer (I can add or remove files). The lights behind the buttons turn on when connecting to the computer. I am not sure if the buttons are broken or if the electronic board had a short in it.
it was in some rainy weather last week but was working up until 2 days ago. any suggestions or other threads I should read? thanks |

First try to reseat the battery and see if that works. Since the Sansa c200 has a replaceable lithium ion battery, that’s the easiest thing to check. It is possible that the battery needs to be reseated because the orientation is jarred off a little or that the battery needs replacement.

Good to hear, if reseating doesn't keep it in the right place, a thin slice of tape to make a tighter fit should do the trick. Good luck ....
