R1 News?

Has anyone heard any new news on the R1 interface Samsung released in Europe? Coming to U.S.?

Samsung's US site now shows the R1. No prices on them yet for some reason.

Im with you on that, I love the P3's design. Im not too happy with how Samsung designed the M1 and R1.

I like both the P3 and the R1 designs... I'm actually going to get one as soon as I can find it. Don't think the M1 is going to come out here.

They list it but there aren't any retailers that are carrying it. I've been asking around a few places.

I chatted with a Dell sales rep. that told me that they should have it in time for the holidays (but they didn't sound all to reassuring).

Went to the Samsung Experience "store" here in NYC and was told that they're unsure whether it'll be shipped here anytime soon (the guy I asked seemed to have checked the same link you posted).

Asked about it in Best Buy's community forum and was told that Best Buy doesn't disclose of upcoming products unless it is "important" (didn't know what to make of that to be honest).

So consider the fact that its on Samsung's US site as a major tease

Ah OK. Well I will keep an eye out for it. Fry's might carry it. I'm not keeping my hopes up then. Especially with how the P3 went.
