Media management program suggestions for Mac? ID3 tags? Album art?

I have a new Mac Mini, and I have been searching for a good program to organize my music so that I can then copy it into my D2. I used Media Monkey on my PC, and liked it a lot.. but it's not available for Mac! Anyways, any suggestions? I wish to embed album art to the tags! Thanks in advanced!

<O</OI use Mp3tag to edit my tag info (embed album art and much more) and would recommend it whole-heartedly. But like Media Monkey (which I also use) I don’t believe that it’s MAC compatible! Sorry, but isn’t iTunes supposed to do everything?

You can try looking at this list I found on Google. No idea how well any of them are but it's a start.

Otherwise you can just wait till someone else with a Mac comes by to help out.

In researching Songbird after the review here I noticed that it is cross platform and has a download for the Mac. Too resource heavy for me to use as a player but as a file/metadata manager it seems to be OK. I'm not a Mac user and have no idea how well it works in that environment but it works OK on my PC.

It may give you the functions you are looking for. Haven't used it enough to know how well it embeds the album art but it reliably tags the files I have fed it on a PC.

I use Songbird on my Mac to transfer music files to my D2. The Folder Sync add-on makes it easy to transfer files into a directory structure of your choosing on the D2.

Its a little bit buggy at times but there are always updates which seem to fix problems.

I still use iTunes to import my music to mp3 and songbird happily works alongside it.

I don't bother with album art so I can't really comment on that but I'm sure there will be an add-on for Songbird that will help you.
