delete songs files

I followed all your suggestions but I still cannot delete songs. I have the D2 2.59.

any other suggestions?

on the player itself it's difficult to delete songs, but a foolproof way is to go into the player as a drive from your computer, go to the MUSIC directory, and delete songs, artists, and albums from there.
