battery time for recording micrphone

so i never really used up the battery when recording voices and curious if anone have tried only recording voices till the battery died out
as for me i need to use it to record lectures in uni lol since i tend to sleep during 4 hours lecture without break

I've recorded three hours of FM radio which used maybe one third of the battery. I figure you could easily record six hours of audio.
