Hi ~ so I just got the Cowon S9 today (I live in Korea) and after I updated the firmware to the latest version ~ the Kor-Eng dictionary that came with it has disappeared.
Is this because I updated from the US firmware? Does anyone know a way I can get that back? Or at least revert back to the original firmware? Thanks in advance!

The international 2.xx firmwares don't support the dictionary, you have to use a Korean 1.xx firmware.

Is there a big difference? Because after I upgraded I didn't really notice much...
How can I revert back to the original firmware? Thanks! |

The dictionary and MSC-only are the only differences in the 1.xx firmware. 2.xx has no dictionary and MSC/MTP user selectable.
You just install any firmware you like, you can always switch between 1.xx and 2.xx versions, there's no restrictions.

Oh really? Then I'd rather just use 1.xx ~ I don't need to select between MSC/MTP anyways.
Do you happen to know where I can find the Korean firmware 1.xx? Sorry to bother ~ I couldn't find it on the Cowon Korea site. O.o |

Thanks for your help! I realized to just search the forums earlier -__-;; and I found it also...probably should've replied on here right after!
Thanks again! =] |
