Buy The P3 or wait for the P4?

...That question still ponders my mind now since i'm stuck in choosing either the new P3 or wait in 2010 for the P4? I've read that the P3 is merely a test version inbetween both the P2 & P4?

Thoughts?

Get a P3, or the M1 when it comes to market. Sept is gonna' be a real exciting month, so enjoy!!! Otherwise, the P4 is currently a pipe dream, so I'd suggest moving on.

Skip the P3. On Samsung's USA site they are still selling the P2, and for more money than they are selling the P3. What that tells me is that they've cut corners to make the P3, and that is consistant with my experience with both. The M1 isn't available yet. Instead of waiting for Samsung to get their act together, I suggest a Cowon S9. Cowon is doing with the S9 what Samsung had been doing with the P2. It's already been updated monthly, with each update actually adding value beyond mere bug fixes.

There's someone on another thread, from the U.S. or Canada, I think, who didn't get a P2 because there was talk of the P3. So they waited and waited, and x amount of months down the line are still waiting for it to be dispatched.

Holy ****, $200 for a 16 GB YP-P3, and $250 for a 16 GB YP-P2? Has Samsung lost its mind?

I completely agree that the Samsung P3 is a test for the P4. I mean, we already know about Samsung trying out Wi-Fi, Android, an app store, and all that. (Plus they're not even updating the firmware for the P3 anymore, signaling the imminent release of the P4.)

Besides, the design of the P3's buttons sucks, why the hell is there a pseudo-button when there isn't even space for more important stuff? And I hope Samsung'll get a better screen than LCD.
