A Couple Questions

1st: If I edit a flash movie to remove the play button, can I watch a flash video?

2nd: Does the new firmware let me charge the player, no matter what capacity it is? Or do I have to let it drain before I charge It?

To answer your second question, yes, the firmware allows you to charge the player no matter what capacity. The battery does not have to be drained. As for the first question, I have not tried putting flash content (other than games made for the clix) on my clix.

Thanks man, this pretty much decided between a Creative Zen Vision: M and a Clix... Because I don't have much time to charge the player, and then I'm gone all day to school

And the Vision: M wouldn't be school friendly anyway :P

Actually you can put a lot of Flash content into your Clix, however such content has to be made specifically for the lite version of Flash (v1.1) for portable devices, the same found on a LOT of multimedia cell phones and the like. I'm not sure flash video content is intended for that, though.

The Clix supports Adobe Flash Lite 2.0 (including loading and parsing of XML) which might be interesting for developers.

Thanks for the clarification, I meant to write 1.1 and 2.0, but only 1.1. got through.

Indeed, apparently there's already a revamped UI with flash backgrounds and what not.
