Don't quote me, but I'm thinking you MIGHT have warranty issues trying to get an Archos 5 purchased in the U.S. serviced in another country. Best to check with Archos before purchasing. With as many problems as these have been having, it would be a real bummer to find out you don't have warranty coverage.
