I find it amazing that Sony could actually get the NetFront browser this bad. Reminds me of mobile phone browsers from about 10 years ago. The same NetFront browser in the PSP is quite good, yet Sony completely screwed things up here.

First impressions:

The browser is a joke (but I knew that)

UI is great, top notch like I'd expect from Sony.

The screen is great - I like my album art and flicking around it is superfast and enjoyable. Pity it doesn't do video a la P3 because I can't be bothered converting anything.

It sounds great. It seems louder and more powerful somehow than the S639. Even at lower volumes the sound appears fuller. The Clear Bass goes up to 4 instead of 3.

Included iems are good but not as good as my EX500s.

Default The best sony Walkman, ever!

I have waited for this for a long time and it finally got here. This is a must have device for music fans. Now I don't need to use my phone for all the other things I used it for in the past. This is perfect for me for music or browsing the web.I had to write an article in support of it.Beautiful device well made and should be well received.I luv it. This Sony Walkman is for keeps.

Nice review - I don't use the browser or the n/c, and wish it was 64 or 128Gb, but am otherwise happy with the X.
