Hey,
Thanks to a post here I've learned how to encode video with native resolution on Linux (which should work in OS X) and written a small guide. http://elliot.orwells.org/?p=298 It's still in construction but it has a working example which should be enough for now. Suggestions and improvements are welcome. Cheers |

Ok got all encoding methods working now. It would be nice to add a avidemux script if someone already had one.

I want to share other options alternative which works with my GNU/Linux system.
Code:
ffmpeg -i IN.avi -vcodec libx264 -vpre=baseline -vpre hq -acodec libfaac -ab 128k -threads 0 -s 432x240 -f mp4 out.mp4 http://rapidshare.com/files/272744571/QoS.mp4 Size: 8MB Duration : 3 minutes 18 seconds Video resolution : 432x240, cropped from the source to make it full screen. Audio : Copied from the source. Encoding time : around 1 minute Source : MKV format 720x304 Enjoy. |
