I don't think it's a little slow, as most here haven't seen this yet. And, FWIW, I've been there since this first hit the net, as well as epizenter.net (but you knew that too, didn't you speedy).

$399 for the SDK and a 32gb Zii Egg. It won't be a watered down version, but will be a "yet to be developed" version. It will have one or both OSes already installed.

I really don't like it. It's ugly. Not appealing to me at all with this whole SDK thing... I know its exciting for many, but I do not see the hype of it anymore .

Also supporting an earlier comment, Creative better ring up Sandisk and get the goss on the new technology of "XD cards".

Just wanted to add to this... Was just doing some research of the zune HD mixed use Woflson DAC and then saw this little nugget of news.

http://www.wolfsonmicro.com/news/355

Apparently the Zii egg is going to have a Wolfson Audio WM8350 chip handling the audio for the device and the associated Zi related SOC. Whats even more interesting is that the same Chip (WM8352) is essentially being used in the Zune HD that will interface with the Tegra 2600 Soc.

One wonders which will have better sound quality ?

Cheers
