Major problems with the S9

Can someone please tell me what the major problems and malfunctions with the S9 and whether they are fixable

They're aren't any major probs, unless you use Linux or a MAC apparently.

Well, the bluetooth seems more like a feature that was added in response to Samsung's P2/3 lineup. That's really not a major problem, it's just a half-assed implementation of a feature that sounds horrible for the most part.

I have yet to face any type of problem related to Linux *O*

After much soul-searching, I've decided to purchase my third S9 after bricking two of them by transferring via Linux. I'll just limit my transfers to Windows.

There's nothing out now that has all the features of the S9. I have to say I grew very attached to it.

I was going to try out a Zune HD, but (IMO) it's just not as good as the S9. I understand the Z:HD is a Touch competitor, but for my needs - it fails. S9 = king of the hill!!!!

No, man, no phone has the S9's arsenal of features. The S9 is amazing...simply nothing I don't like about it. That's how good I think it is. You can tell your mom I said I'd rather have my S9 than any phone you could offer me.

Chill - if you ask anyone they'll say the Touch is great for browsing and Apps, the S9, though, is far superior at playing music.

I was only making a point, as he seems to favor the "pod". I got HELL when I had a touch, whats the big deal? I didn't get this name (The DarkSide) for nothing ya' know!!!

Major problems? The longer I own my S9, the fewer minor problems it has left. Most of them are solved by 3rd party replacements for the standard apps. Although the more I find out about the Zune HD the more I like it, the S9 has already been updated several times after it's original release. I bought the S9 mainly for how cool it looked, and am delighted it's turning into the best performing player I have. Looks and brains. Who would have guessed?

Here's a Ubuntu user who definitely has had reproduceable fatal problems with the S9.

Now, my third S9 has finally arrived, and I'll just have to use Windows to load files on it. Despite the problems, I still think it's the best player for me.
