Is everyone still having problems with these??? Mine comes in tomorrow and I have Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005 and all the latest Windows updates for it. Has it been determined as a Linux problem???
Thanks.

I use Vista at work and Mint Linux at home without any problems. I'm using the latest firmware so that might be why ... or I just might be lucky.

Edit: Does Amazon send you a new one the first time you order it or give you refurbs all the time?

You order new, you get new. Order a refurb, you get a refurb. Simple as that.

It's not only Linux ... there are reported cases of problems with Windows as well. Some seem to think that it has to deal with the fat32 partition. Others think it has something to do with improper naming of files. As I've stated I have had no problems with Linux or Windows.

linux and macs have had the most issues although most of the mac issues were fairly avoidable some of the linux issues are mysterious atm
