sansa m240 volume button prob

I can raise the volume but not lower it. I tried the factory reset which resets the volume to a medium and again I can only raise not lower it from there....Purchased from woot a few months ago as a refurb...Worked great and all off a sudden this annoying prob...help!!

Download the firmware for the player and reload it. Unresponsive buttons are imo usually caused by the firmware in the player becoming corrupted. If reloading the firmware doesn't help, then there is a problem with the switch itself, and there is no practical way to resolve it.
