Just bought my sony. Transfered some albums from my PC to my Sony (music folder) and I can't see album cover on screen. Probably I am doing sh wrong however on my pc all covers are displayed.
All images are 160 x 120 ,jpeg files, the same file name as the album name. please help. |

My images are part of the song tags, and not seperate files. They show up. I don't know enough about previous Sony players, but it's possible this Walkman X doesn't know what to do with seperate art files.

I think the name of album art jpeg should be folder.jpg in the folder your album is. So in that case, you have to make three folders.
Artist -> Album -> folder.jpg & mp3 files You have to do that for every album for its album arts to show. I suggest you apply the album art with the tag if you don't organize music by albums/artist. And not that it matters, X1000's album art size is 200x200. |

I am having the same problem. And I used WMP11. Where are the filesjpeg files supposed to be located. On some albums, where WMP11 shows the album art, I just mp3 files in the folder.

If you'd all read through the forum (the "software" section) you'd see all these questions are covered already.
As for WMP11, or ANY version, it's horrible. Use either J.River Media Jukebox, Media Monkey, WinAmp, Songbird, or ANYTHING ELSE but WMP. Here's the link to the software section: SOFTWARE

DarkSide: Thanks. I downloaded MediaMonkey and it worked well. Like it!
