Emodio is being a pain?

Hello there,
I've just gotten a YP-P3 for my Bday present.
The design and the menu interface is amazing, but emodio is seriously pissing me off.

Since I used itunes before, it has no problem detecting my album artwork. Emodio on the otherhand NEEDS ME TO MANUALLY MAKE IT REALIZE IT'S ARTWORK. Is this the way it should be...?

Also, how come it does not recognized files that I have imported before from CD into itunes?

IS THIS ALL NORMAL!?

Sorry about my wack and annoying attitude, but can anyone help me?!

You're best not to use emodio at all, and just drag and drop music files to your P3 using Explorer.

If you had music on i-tunes it may be DRM-protected and won't play on your P3 unless it's burned to a disc in mp3 format. The actual way of getting your i-tunes stuff to play I'm not sure of, but someone else will post.

Burn all the DRMed music to disk, then rip it to mp3 using the program of choice. Now, put it on your player - easy as pie (just a bit time-consuming is all).

Even using Windows Media Player will be an upgrade over Emodio. Just skip Emodio & look into WMP or MediaMonkey or Winamp or even Media Jukebox works quite well too... You'll like your P3 a lot more once you do!

Media player's album art does not work on the P3... that's why I just tag, then drag and drop...

Ouch...transitioning from Itunes to Explorer. That's going to take some getting used to. I use explorer and WMP for my Sansa, but both my mom and my sister use Itunes. For me, trying to understand Itunes is a bit like introductory Latin, doable but not without its share of frustration. Same goes for reverting back to more PC based systems. Any time I've used WMP for my Sansa, when I add artwork it's hit or miss for albums, some of the tracks will have the artwork, others won't. I'll probably just use MP3tag + explorer D&D when...IF!....my P3 ever arrives. But for heavens sakes man, don't use Emodio, Emodio makes C++ look mighty appealing

I have WMP on my netbook, just so I can occasionally play some files. It sits there quietly and I just ignore it when I plug in my Sony or P3 and it prompts me for a sync. My previous experience of it is that it always screwed up my album art, or it tried to convert my mp3s into wmas. I'd sooner grapple with Emodio, or study Latin Poetry.

Trust me emodio is a pain dont even bother using it unless ur converting videos

Are you using the p3 in MTP mode and syncing it or something. I use UMS but didnt use media player to put the files on my p3. I copied all my music over to the windows machine and went through them all with media player adding the art to them. then just drag an drop onto my p3. The only ones that didnt show any art where the 14 wma files that ive had for ages and not got round to replacing.
