Is it possible to have with the textless menu thing?.. I mean, without the text from the original menu?... Is looking awesome, but I think it would be a lot better if textless...

Thanks a lot.

Get the textless thing yourself. It's on the main Themes page.

I made my own textless firmware using the stickied thread on this forum... did anyone notice that while it removes the text from the main menu, it also removes the "Play All" selection from all submenus?

Beautiful theme.

But only one complain.

In the menu, it is written VOICE.
When you select it, it become RECORD.

Can to make it the same?

Thanks!

I agree and can you make the menu selection text "pictures" equaled up? If I can do it myself, can you show me? BTW, best theme ever, yes, BEST THEME EVER!

Default Installation Problem

Hmm, i thought your theme was the best one and i tried to install it - but it wouldn't work. H3Mod imported most of the images OK (it claimed eight images - the battery ones - did not import) and it rebooted and reloaded the database just as the instructions said - but no reload of the firmware. =(

Result: unchanged appearance. i know i loaded the modified 1.02.18A.mi4 file into the root folder, as i saw the datestamp get modified from my hard drive, and when i copied and pasted it to the root E:\ it appears there in Windows Explorer (before there was no .mi4 file in the root E:\ folder).

This is a refurb e260, i just got it today from eCost. All i did prior to loading the theme was to change the USB mode from MTP to MSC, and delete a few of the preloaded songs via Windows Explorer.

Any ideas what i am doing wrong?

The background on the large battery picture doesn't line up quite right... But that's just nit-picking, I guess. Awesome looking theme though.

Just unzip and copy the .m4 file to your sansa root directory. i.e. if when you plug your sansa in the cimputer sees it as "G" drive then just copy it to "G".

black vista theme m4

If you ever run into a theme where there is no .m4 file... only image files then do this:

1. Get firmware version you want
2. Open H3MOD
3. FIRMWARE--->LOAD the new firmware
4. THEME--->IMPORT IMAGES
5. Test the final product by hitting F2 and then scroll though the screens.
6. FIRMWARE--->SAVE AS --->PP5022.mi4
7. Copy to root directory
8. Reboot Sansa

Hi,

I just purchased a E280 v1 and upgraded to the 1.02.18A firmware.

The links for this Black Vista v2 on this thread is dead so I loaded the original Black Vista here.

The Black Vista Theme is one of the best themes I have seen so far for the the E200's.

Now, could someone H3Mod savvy remove the Text in the Menu?

This would make this theme even better!

Also on the want to have list is there a way to get a more visible battery indicator at the bottom of the screen?

Or could you change the color on the battery indicator from white to green, black - another color so it is easier to read?

Many thanks in advance,

v7
