I ordered one from Jr.com. They claimed "in stock". Their $199 price is with free shipping and no tax (unless you're in NY), which ends up cheaper than what amazon's listing (still pre-ordering) will be after tax.

anyone know where you can get the P7 cradle?

I cant see it on gmarket so wondering where this is actually being sold?

Also will someone eventually release a wallet/case for this player?

Has anyone tried to contact J&R Music World to see if they'll be getting the cradle in stock? They're very good at keeping their customers happy, so call and ask.

The cradle would sure be nice. The LCD screen discolors when viewed from a low angle, such as when the P7 is on your lap.

I sure am loving the Video play on my P7. MP4s 580 x 360 play fine. WMV and AVI play too. It's also supposed to play flash video, but I don't know where to find any to test it with. Any ideas?

Yup i ordered mine and got an iriver t50...i think i haven't received it yet but based on the order confirmation. Kinda cool huh

iRiver should open up a US store like cowon has. They would do better here if cases and cables could be found at one consolidated location in each country they sell in. There's a rumor out there that the P7 can do video out. I'm skeptical though, as there is no clue in the OS, and I haven't seen any hints of that capabilty on iriver's sites.

i got my P7 yesterday
issues:-
it doesn't play flv files, mpeg files, mp4 files - as most of my stuff are avi files thats not really a problem though
audio/video sync is off on quite a few videos aswell
it misses the first split second off all the mp3's - that is really really annoying - i've checked all settings but it still does it - this is a pretty basic flaw for an mp3 player !
the on board speaker is so quiet it's not worth having, even at full volume
i can't find a case for it, apart from a ridiculously overpriced leather one
hope rockbox do something with this player asap
cant upgrade firmware as iriver plus3 software doesnt let you download the update
iriver support is notoriously bad from my past experience
my third iriver and the most disappointing one yet
