Here's the deal, I have a Shaker that oroginally came with a 512MB card. So far i've tried increasing the capacity with different size cards and no deal. I originally thought the use of MicroSD adapted cards was the culprit as why it wouldn't play the music files on those cards. I recently found an actual 2GB Sandisk SD card. I loaded it with WMA@256 files and it won't play them. the only thing it will play are the files on the 512MB card...WMA or MP3.
Are these Shakers limited to the size cards they are packed with? |

I didn't know the Shaker even supported WMA... specs suggest it only plays MP3.

Are you sure the 2GB card is an SD card, and not an SDHC card? Imo the Shaker probably supports all SD cards, but not any SDHC cards.

I think the rule is that anything less than a 4gb card is an SD and anything 4gb or more is SDHC. I'm not completely clear which category falls into since it's true capacity is less than 4GB, but my guess is that it falls into the SDHC by default.
