I've had a Zen Sleek Photo 20GB for about four years now. The battery life was never brilliant and has slowly diminished. Charging it overnight leaves it with the full bar of battery: however this normally runs out within an hour, maximum two hours. Skipping tracks wipes it out extremely fast. Is this is a fault with the player, or is the (original) battery just completely knackered? If so, is a new battery needed and where would I be able to buy one, and for what price?
Thanks! PS actually, how much would a replacement/equivalent player be?? |

clashcc welcome to abi, hope you enjoy your stay and there is lots of great info on zen's to be found here
![]() The battery is almost dead after 4 years, you need a new one and btw 4 years is a good life span. The zen micro photo battery sells around $17 to $23 or more on the net, example: http://www.greenertech.com/p-344-cre...FQNbxwodoDWYTQ If you are going to tackle this yourself, this thread might help http://www.anythingbutipod.com/forum...read.php?t=961

Over the past few years I have accumulated several Sleek batteries. I don't want them to go to waste so you'd be welcome to a couple, gratis. Let me know and I'll see about getting them to you.
