After SP2 for Vista, drivers not found or error installing drivers
I have two Zunes, a 30GB 1st generation and a 4GB latest generation. I am using Vista 32 bit on my main computer. No problem synching up until a few days ago.
Installed Vista SP2. Both Zunes quit connecting. "No drivers installed".
Updated everything, deleted both Zunes from Device Manager and reinstalled, re-installed Zune software,re-installed the firmware on both media players, tried different USB ports, tried every solution I could find on Zune forums and Windows Solutions. The closest I have come is the drivers being found but "Error installing drivers" as the result.
They will connect to my laptop which has Vista 64bit and also had Vista SP2 installed.
So it is something in my main computer which changed for the worse, OS-wise.
Any ideas other than "rollback", which means waving the white flag.
