Default m4a tagging problem with NWZ-E438F

I recently bought this new MP3 player that can play AAC files (.m4a). Now I've started to rip all my music CDs using (Linux app) Sound Juicer, which fetches the Track data from CDDB like most rippers do, and tags the files appropriately. But the problem is .. while all other programs like Rhythmbox or Audacious see and show these tag infos correctly, my new MP3 player doesn't.

It's a NWZ-E438F "Walkman" from Sony and I already have several Podcasts on it that also do have Tags, even with pictures for cover / title art, which is all correctly displayed.

But anything I rip myself ... even if I use EasyTAG after ripping to include such cover art manually ... the player just shows me the filename.

How many differeny standards to tag these files are there? More than one?
