Anyone Please Help! Won't turn on?

Hello!

So I had a Sansa C240, but washed it in the washer (accident ) I decided to power it on today (1 yr later) and amazingly it worked plugged into my USB wall adapter. However, I just wanted to turn it off, but while pressing the power button the screen said "Shut Off" and it froze. Being the stupid person I am I pulled out the battery. Now the player won't even turn on? HEELLP! Please?

Ok well ther good thing is, I got it to turn on but the men button is crippled probably due to the water damage. ANy alternate way to turn on device or go back to the main menu? (device is stuck on FM radio)
