Samsung short support...
...I was thinking... why the p2 received not so long ago the 5.08 and 5.10 firmware update, and now everything stopped.
We NEED A NEW FIRMWARE UPDATE ALSO for the p2. I don't care for the p3, I'm not so rich that I can change pmp player as I wish.... so. 2 firmware upgrade. and now? new player and no FW for the old one? That's not fair my dear samsung. You have to correct a LOT OF THINGS on the p2. Listen to the users that bought the device. The same thing occurred with the K5. FW update stopped long time ago with the 1.49...then nothing. Is the same thing for the P2? Most important. is the NORMAL TREND for samsung? I hope not! the player is absolute, but need lot of improvements.  Any news about it?

I found a glitch in 5.10... you know if you press the video button on the home screen for 2 sec, then it starts playing the last played video... now if i do that, a message comes up and it says "the file doesn't exsist"....
IS IT JUST MY P2 OR IS THIS TRUE WITH EVERYONE'S P2... and my P2s touch responsiveness, is sooooo bad...:-(

No option on my P2 for that. Although I believe the recordings are 128kb/s MP3s. The Cowon S9 has that option, iriver SPINN lets you choose from low, medium, and high bitrates but I don't know what they relate to.

extract it. And then put ROM and RSC files at the root your P2. Disconnect it. Then turn it on, it will upgrade
