I'm considering a Zen, because the screen is so large (to me, anyway; I'm used to my 1.8" screen) and also, I thought is was slim(ish), but the compare feature here says it's like 11.3 mm. That's thick, right? I don't want to waste $50, so is it really worth it? I currently have a Rockboxed Sansa e250, and I'm looking for an upgrade. My budget is $60.

At that price the Zen is a good option- beware the lack of SD card integration, though.

If you're used to the freedom and feature set of a rockboxed player, the Zen will be a gigantic step down.

I know. I'm reminded every time I boot the OF of my current player. So what could I rockbox that would have a bigger screen?

The ZEN has a really good screen and UI, and I would definitely recommend you buy one.
