Hi guys.
Just got my S9 a few days ago and I love it ![]() I have a few problems using winamp to transfere files to the player tho. 1. When I try to transfere ogg and flac files, winamp transcodes the files to mp3 before putting them on the device. It works fine with drag and drop in windows or using jetaudio, but winamp wont. 2. My album art arent getting shown on the player. Is there a way for winamp to do the tags so the S9 can read it, or should I just use mp3tag (as mentioned in a post on the forum)? Thanks alot

I would suggest MP3tag. It works very well and is nice and fast.

Just leaves me with problem no.1. Why the hell is winamp transcoding ogg and flac files to mp3 before transfering?

A bit late here, but you need to connect your player in MSC mode, then go to preferences, Portables, then your Cowon S9. Go to the transcoding tab and disable it, then go to advanced and add ogg and flac as acceptable file types. I haven't found a way to get it to transfer FLAC properly in MTP yet
